Remembering Leslie in Recorded Music

I was familiar with Dan Fogelberg’s music before I met Leslie, but I was not a huge fan of his before she made me appreciate him. “The Reach” became one of my favorite of his songs. We worked out an arrangement of it with Leslie singing the lead and me singing harmony. Leslie played mandolin and I played guitar, and we really enjoyed ourselves doing this. Leslie never liked hearing herself on the recording, though. Regardless, this recording is precious to me.

The rest of these songs are ones I either wrote to her, about her, or were inspired by her. They are in chronological order, going from the time I first started having feelings for her through an impressionistic piece about the kind of mood that sometimes can come over me living without her.
